Case Study: Cottage Heating System, Kenora On Canada

Project Overview:S-Power_Cottage_Heating_System_installation

This system is installed at a cottage in Kenora Ontario Canada. It uses 6 x 30 (Heat Pipe) S-Power Vacuum Tube Collectors to preheat the domestic hot water, as well as, supplying heat for the space heating system with a boiler as a back-up. This system has two pump stations configuration to maximize performance. The preheated water is stored in two Enerworks Super Solar Combi Tanks with lower (solar) heat exchange coils and 1 Tank with upper (space heating) heat exchange coil. The solar heated water is then feed into the house with a boiler for back-up for cloudy days.
