Case Study: Cranbrooke Village – condominiums, Toronto On Canada

Project Overview:S-Power_Grassy-Lea_Farms_Ltd

This system is installed on a new Tridel 12 storey / 341 unit condominium in the Bathurst St and Lawrence Avenue area of Toronto. Tridel, the progressive condominium designers and their construction arm, Delterra, realize the benefits of heating the domestic hot water with solar energy makes economical and environmental sense. Thus, making their award winning designs very attractive to the condominium buyer.

The system uses 56 Enerworks Premier collectors to preheat the domestic hot water and is stored in eight (8) A.O. Smith (119 gallons) tanks. The solar heated water is then fed into the hot water mains and distributed to the tenants’ units for immediate use.
